ABILENE, Texas — Cooper High senior, Sarah Aichison, made her dreams a reality. Pursuing her passion at the next level with a scholarship to Western Texas College.
"Ever since I was little I know I was going to college and hopefully get a scholarship. I finally did, which is awesome I got that goal," Aitchison said.
Coach Churchman from Cooper has no doubt in his mind that Aitchison is going to continue to dominate at the next level.
"She's the type of player that every coach wants out of their seniors. She is a leader from the word go and it's not by talk, it's by action."
Coach Cook at Western Texas is excited to add her to the team.
"Sarah is exactly what every coach is looking for and we're lucky enough to get to have her."
While this is just the start to her next chapter in her golf career, Coach Churchman believes she has no ceiling when it comes to her future success.
"She needs to continue to get better. The sky is the limit for her. I know she wants to play pro someday and she will have the opportunity to because of her work ethic," Churchman added.
Aitchison is ready for her new journey and to make her dream a reality.
"I'm just very happy and i'm speechless."
