The Abilene High Eagles travel to San Angelo Friday to take on district rivals, the Central Bobcats. Both teams are playing their third district game this week.

Heading into this match-up, the Eagles are coming off of a shutout win over L.D. Bell on Oct. 4, 13-0. Abilene is 1-1 in district play and 2-4 overall.

The Central Bobcats are coming off of their first district loss against falling 49-24 to Euless Trinity. San Angelo is 1-1 in district play and 3-3 overall heading into the game Friday.

Eagle fans remember the 2018 rivalry game all too well. San Angelo Central took down Abilene High on a last second field goal.
