SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Independent School District announced Friday that Geraldo Bueno is the new head baseball coach for Lake View High School.
Bueno is a native of Andrews and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Houston Baptist University.
According to a press release from the SAISD, Bueno has been in education since 2015, and recently served as a physical education teacher, varsity football running back coach, as well as varsity assistant baseball coach in Pecos.
Bueno played professional baseball for seven years, including a stint in the Mexican League (MLB AAA).
Bueno hopes to help the student-athletes become good products of society, the release said.
