ABILENE, Texas — A life without sports... sports on TV at least. You can still enjoy throwing the baseball, football, going running or whatever it is that you like to do to stay active.

While it's important to stay inside now because of the COVID-19 outbreak, it's also important to go outside and keep your body moving. Especially if you're working from home and inside most of the day, your body needs fresh air to stay healthy and moving during this difficult time.

One Abilene resident enjoys walking her dog outside and believes it's important to get fresh air especially during this time. 

"I think it's good for your body. I think after awhile being cooped up it can put you in a depressive state. Once in a while going out and getting fresh air, it's good for your immune system. i'm going to take advantage of that," Ashley Stucker added.

Another resident takes walks outside because it's best for her mental health.

"I have to go outside, I need some fresh air, I need the sunshine... it's best for my mental state to go outside and get some fresh air," Rhonda Story said.

While the world is crazy right now with the coronavirus outbreak, it's important to take care of yourself, your body and those around you. Wash your hands, stay safe and stay active.
