Tate Williams receives college offers gearing up for senior season

Wall senior is ready for his final season before college career

WALL, Texas — Since Wall senior Tate Williams started playing football, his goal was to play in college. That dream is coming into fruition just months away from his senior season.

Williams has received offers across the country from schools. So far, Williams has received offers from Rutgers University, UNLV, Abilene Christian, Texas State and UTSA.

"It's an exciting experience, it makes you want to work harder to impress the coaches who offered you even more."

He is looking forward for what's to come but is enjoying the moment getting recognized across the country.

"It was an honor to get recognized by coach Schiano at Rutgers. My first offer was from ACU, I toured the facilities and I really like Abilene."

With another year left to play, Williams looks to continue improving before college.

During quarantine, Williams has been staying in shape and working out at home gearing up for his senior season.

"I'm ready for it. I've been waiting to take a leadership role as a senior. I know my teammates are ready for the year too, it's a big deal for all of us."
