MITCHELL COUNTY, Texas — A 72-year-old Loraine man died Monday morning after his vehicle rolled over on Interstate 20, four miles west of Colorado City.
According to a Texas Department of Public Safety preliminary crash report, Brigido Delacruz of Loraine was driving a 1969 Ford pickup truck west on Interstate 20, when the vehicle left the roadway to the north and rolled over. The truck came to rest on the north service road.
Delacruz was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock, where he was pronounced dead. The report states he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
