TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — Two women were killed early Sunday morning when the vehicles they were driving collided head-on.
According to a preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2000 Fiat 500, driven by Araceli Fe Marin, 19, of San Angelo, was traveling north on US Hwy 277, when it crossed the center stripe divider and collided with a 2006 Pathfinder, driven by Alyssa Ashley Glasgow, 27, of Christoval.
Both women were pronounced dead at the scene.
DPS troopers were assisted on scene by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the Christoval Volunteer Fire Department.
The crash occurred three miles north of Christoval.
