TEXAS, USA — This weekend, there's great weather to look forward to in West Texas, with clear skies and mild temperatures continuing the entire time. We’ve talked a lot about multiple cold fronts moving through West Texas back-to-back, but they’re all dry, leaving us with these cool temperatures and clear conditions.

Friday night, temperatures are going to drop into the 30s for both the Big Country and Concho Valley, so if you plan to be outside for football, nightlife, etc., definitely have a jacket or blanket nearby.

Saturday is going to be a bit warmer than Friday, with a high of 71 degrees. Lots of college football will be going on, such as the Abilene Christian Wildcats at home against the Tarleton State Texans.

If you're heading out to watch any games, expect temperatures near the high around kickoff since all the games start in the afternoon.

Sunday will be another beautiful day to wrap up the weekend, with highs still in the 70s. If you’re awake early enough, it’d be a great opportunity to sit outside for a Sunday brunch. Abilene will see gustier winds up to 25 mph in the early afternoon, but that’s looking to be short-lived, only lasting about an hour.
