SAN ANGELO, Texas — After 80 degree high temperatures Sunday, it's hard to believe that we are transitioning into the final month of meteorological fall. November is a really unique month for West Texas.
We average our first freeze on Nov. 12. These average are adjusted every 10 years -- much like our daily weather averages.
Forecast low temperatures Thursday will include many areas falling to or below the freezing mark of 32°F. For areas that are limited on radiational cooling, they will hover above that freezing temperature.
However, the sky will clear overnight Thursday into Friday and everyone will fall below 32 degrees first thing in the morning.
The FOX West Texas Weather Aware Team will continue to watch the forecast and provide updates as we get closer to the end of the week.
