TOMORROW:   Mostly sunny skies with a high of 76. Winds northwest at 10-15 MPH.

WEATHER SUMMARY: 

It's been hot the last two days across West Texas. Highs have reached into the 90s throughout the area. However, no records were broken in both Abilene and San Angelo Wednesday or Thursday. Highs only reached 90 degrees on Thursday in both locations, falling just short of record highs.

Friday will see highs in the upper 80s throughout West Texas. This is still well above the average high of 74. Partly to mostly cloudy skies can be expected.

Cold front comes through overnight, and more seasonal weather is in store for the coming weekend. Highs in the 70s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions. Seasonal temperatures continue into next week.
