TEXAS, USA — An active weather pattern is setting up across the Lone Star State.

There is a chance of isolated thunderstorms Wednesday evening until about midnight, and any storms that form could be strong to severe. The main threats Wednesday look to be large hail and damaging winds,  but I cannot rule out an isolated tornado.

The storm threat for Wednesday evening is very conditional given we may not even see storms fires along the dry line, but just remember to stay weather aware.

Thursday night into Friday morning looks to have a higher chance of thunderstorms. A line of thunderstorms will move through the area late Thursday night into early Friday morning, and some of those thunderstorms could have damaging winds, large hail, and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

As you go to bed Thursday night be sure to have a way to receive watches and warnings. There is another risk for strong to severe thunderstorms late Saturday night and early Sunday, so be sure to check back to receive your latest weather updates on this dynamic weather system.
