TEXAS, USA — Monday has been a pleasant start to the work week.

However, starting Tuesday we will have a more active weather pattern in place. A couple thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday could have some quarter sized hail and gusty winds. The highest chances for severe storms will be in the Big Country.

Thursday looks like it will be our best chance for rain and thunderstorms with another chance Saturday. However, at this time it is difficult to pinpoint the most favorable areas for severe weather. Be sure to stay weather aware the next couple of days.

With an active weather pattern setting up across the Lone Star State now is a great time to make sure you and your family have a severe weather plan. It is fairly common to see storm chances this time of year, but we still always want to stay weather aware.

For those of us who do not see the rain you can expect warm temperatures and partly cloudy skies for pretty this whole week. Storm chances won't be widespread, but there is a chance for storms that develop to be strong.

For your latest weather update you can always find them online and on social media.
