The sun returned to West Texas on Thursday and temperatures were able to warm into the upper 50s. Expect more of the same on Friday with even warmer afternoon temperatures. Highs today will be in the lower to middle 60s under bright Texas sun.

The first round of high school football playoffs start tonight. Don't forget to watch our "FOX Football Live" show at 10:30pm. If you are headed out to any of the games, bring a jacket, and expect perfect football weather. Temperatures will start in the middle 50s and drop to the middle 40s by the end of the games.

This weekend looks quiet and comfortable with temperatures near average for mid-November. Highs will be in the middle 60s with partly cloudy conditions. Expect the 70s to return for highs as we enter next week. Our next chance of rain will be during the middle to end of the week.
