West Texas Weather: Warm Easter weekend

Meteorologist Britton Musall has your Thursday night forecast.

TEXAS, USA — It has been a pleasant spring day for West Texans. Your Easter weekend is going to feel a little more like summer, so you'll want to plan to stay cool during any Easter egg hunts.

Good Friday will have some clouds around, and that should keep most of us below the 80°, thankfully. It'll be a windy day with sustained winds of 15-20 MPH and gusts near 40. It won't be the best day for outdoor plans, so you'll definitely want to keep that mind.

After a very warm weekend, the beginning of April will come with our next storm system. The best chance for storms looks to be to our east Monday night/Tuesday morning, but you'll still want to keep an eye on the potential for some strong-to-severe thunderstorms.
