SAN ANGELO, Texas — It was a beautiful start to the week across West Texas with highs in the 70s and plenty of sunshine. Changes are on the way for the remainder of the week, with multiple chances of rain.
A cold front will move through the area overnight Monday into Tuesday, with scattered rain showers beginning shortly after sunrise. Tuesday will be overcast with scattered showers throughout the day. The gloomy conditions will keep temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s for highs.
More rain is on the way throughout the week, with the greatest chances coming Wednesday when activity will be more widespread than other days.
Projected rain totals through the week give a good soaking to parts of West Texas, which will aid in eliminating drought conditions still seen throughout the region.
