Storm threat remains in the forecast

The overall severe threat the next few days is lower than what we saw Monday evening, but a few storms could be dangerous.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — A marginal risk of severe weather (level one of five) has been issued Tuesday evening across West Texas. Widespread strong to severe storms is not expected, however an isolated storm may turn severe with hail and wind being the greatest threat.

Additional storms are possible Wednesday. Once again, a marginal risk of severe weather (level one of five) has been issued for the region.

The greatest threat will come during the evening hours as a line of storms pushes through West Texas. These storms will once again have the threat of large hail and damaging winds. An isolated tornado will also be possible.

Thursday looks mainly dry, but isolated storms remain in the forecast through the remainder of the week and into the coming weekend.
