TEXAS, USA — After a cold front moved through the area Monday evening it has been a chilly Tuesday. With mostly clear skies tonight, I think a hard freeze freeze is likely - especially for folks south of San Angelo.
There are no freeze alerts from the National Weather Service since most folks have already had their first freeze of the winter. Remember to protect the 4 p's for cold safety: people, pets, plants, and pipes.
The good news: we will rise above the freezing mark by mid-morning Wednesday. Thursday also looks cool, and then we will see more fall-like weather again Friday with highs in the 70s.
Another cold front move through early Saturday morning, but it does not look nearly as powerful as our cold front Monday night. I think any rain will stay east of our viewing area, but December is typically one of our driest months.
