Community members playing eye spy with stuffed bears

See how some are playing the bear hunting game in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Right here in West Texas community so have been jumping in on the social distancing bear hunt activity.

"It's super easy and takes less than three seconds literally," Jacinda Gandar said. She is one of the many parent participants in West Texas participating in this community event.

"This lady from out of state did it and I saw it and I have a little one and he's been pretty bored shocked up in here," Gandar said.

If you're a parent like Gandar and her husband, you might be struggling to keep your little ones entertained at home. But this mom says this activity has changed the game.

"You look and see and keep track wit how many bears you can see on your window seal," Gandar said.

"Anytime we go anywhere, that's the first thing he's doing is looking out the window and seeing if we can see anything and anybody in any window seal," Gandar continued.

Her son looks forward to changing it up.

"And he's always wanting to switch out our little bear that we have here and today we actually have Mickey Mouse on our window seal" Gandar said.

She said she is not sure what the future holds, but it is an activity she and her family plan to keep around.

" I mean I love it, he loves it. I'm hoping we can do a little something similar for Easter," Gandar said.

The participants said one can use items in their house as it is not limited to only bears. They are encouraging new and old participants to get creative and think outside the box.
