ABILENE, Texas — UPDATE (10:45 a.m. Jan. 4): Betty Allison has been found safe, Abilene Police said Thursday morning.
She was reunited with her family.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Abilene Police Department is asking for the public's help finding 77-year-old Betty Allison.
Allison was last seen 5 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Orange Street.
Police say she walks with a cane and was last seen on foot.
Allison suffers from dementia.
