Three injured in crash at busy San Angelo intersection

The victims were taken to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance with unknown injuries, police said.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Three people were injured after a two-vehicle crash Dec. 21 in San Angelo. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Officer J. Welch, a white Ford Fusion was heading eastbound in the intersection of East 6th and North Main streets.

At the same time, an SUV was headed southbound when the two vehicles crashed into one another just in front of Allsup's Convenience Store, 514 N. Main St. 

Three people from the Fusion were taken to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance and Welsh said the severity of their injuries is unknown at this time. 

Welch received varying witness statements and the SAPD is still investigating for more details.
