San Angelo Police have arrested the driver in Wednesday night's fatal hit-and-run.
According to a release from the department, Clayton Dunn has been arrested and charged with accident resulting in death, a second degree felony.
Around 1 p.m. Thursday, a call was dispatched for a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Howard Street. The caller stated she saw the social media posts about the hit-and-run and suspect vehicle, and thought she saw the truck, the release said.
After further investigation, police determined it was the suspect vehicle, a 2003 GMC 2500, which also matched description from Wednesday night.
Dunn was charged after his interview with the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
The SAPD has not released the identity of the victim at this time.

The San Angelo Police Department needs your help identifying the driver of a hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist Wednesday night.
SAPD said the suspect hit the cyclist in the 1900 block of North Van Buren Street just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the suspect dragged the bicycle nearly three blocks before it fell off the truck.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a faded blue, older model pickup truck with scrap metal in the truck bed. The truck is also missing its passenger side mirror.
The truck was last seen fleeing the scene eastbound on Greenwood Street.
The victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
