SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Independent School District announced Coach Julie Williams as the new head volleyball coach for San Angelo Central High School.
She will begin her new role April 27 and will work through the virtual learning platform.
Williams has 17 years of educational experience and has served as a classroom teacher, assistant volleyball coach and head volleyball and track coach, prior to joining the SAISD. As head volleyball coach, she led her teams to 5A regional finals and quarterfinals three times. Williams’ former players received recognition from the district and have gone on to play collegiate volleyball.
Williams obtained a Bachelor of Arts in history from Lubbock Christian University, where she was named an All-American, second all-time LCU kill list, third all-time block list, first-team all-conference and first-team all-region.
