Angelo State's SBDC to host 'Meet the Lenders' luncheon

The in-person event is designed to advise local and area people and businesses how to access capital and gain financing to start or grow their business.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Angelo State University's Small Business Development Center is hosting its Meet the Lenders Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center, 1620 University Ave.

"Your Connection to Capital" is an in-person event is designed to advise local and area individuals and businesses on accessing capital and gain financing to start or grow their business. The luncheon will include panel presentations by representatives of local banks and alternative commercial lenders, as well as lunch and door prizes.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Commercial loans
  • Lines of credit
  • Micro loans
  • Community loan programs
  • SBA Guaranteed Loans, Community Advantage Loans and 504 Loans

Panelists will include representatives from:

  • First Financial Bank
  • Texas Bank
  • The Bank and Truest
  • Bank of San Angelo
  • Capital CDC SBA 504
  • 1st Community Federal Credit Union
  • Tom Green County Revolving Loan Fund
  • Small Business Administration (SBA)
  • People Fund and Lift Fund

Those planning to attend the luncheon should register in advance online at angelo.edu/lender. The cost to attend the luncheon is $15 per person.

The luncheon is sponsored by the ASU SBDC, City of San Angelo Development Corporation, the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce and CalTech.
