ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 90th COVID-19-related death - a man in his 70s with pre-existing health conditions - in Taylor County Wednesday.
The health district reported 98 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - 29 PCR and 69 antigen.
Ninety-seven recoveries were also reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,266.
Eighty-three total hospitalizations were included in the report.
Taylor County has administered 29,743 PCR and 32,168 antigen tests. Of those tests, 2,989 PCR and 3,614 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
There were 26,754 negative PCR and 28,554 antigen test results reported.
