ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Police arrested a Sweetwater man after responding to an aggravated robbery call Sunday at an apartment complex in the 5200 block of Hartford Street.
The victim reported a man pulled a weapon on him while he was in his vehicle, robbed him of his cell phone and vehicle, then driving away from the scene.
An APD patrol unit found the vehicle a short time later and made contact with 18-year-old Keenan Robertson of Sweetwater.
Robertson was arrested and charged with first-degree felony aggravated robbery and state jail felony evading arrest.
During the APD investigation, it was discovered Robinson had been involved in a convenience store robbery the previous week. For that incident, he was charged with first-degree felony robbery. He was booked into the Taylor County Jail.
APD said the investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
