ABILENE, Texas — The public is invited to a free Abilene Storybook Experience App Launch Party from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Adamson-Spalding Storybook Garden, hosted by the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council.
Costumed characters will welcome visitors to the garden, where they can enjoy free donuts and coffee while supplies last. Hair chalking will also be available.
Guests can grab a free doughnut, get help learning the game from the Genius Squad and meet special celebrity guest, Elsie Stark, from the Kids Baking Championship TV show, who will be giving away her delicious baked treats to the first 13 families to download the app.
