Joe Biden, Donald Trump win respective parties' presidential primaries in Texas

The primary features Donald Trump in his attempt to win back the presidency.

TEXAS, USA — The presumptive presidential candidates for each major political party did what they were supposed to do in Texas on Super Tuesday.

At 8 p.m., the Associated Press called the Democratic presidential primary in Texas for sitting President Joe Biden and the Republican presidential primary in Texas for former President Donald Trump.

Biden has a commanding lead in the Democratic race so far, having won all of the past primaries so far. His presumed opponent, former President Donald Trump, has also won almost all of his primaries in the Republican race ahead of Super Tuesday, with only Nikki Haley left competing against him.

Both Biden and Trump are expected to carry Texas with a supreme majority of their parties' votes.

Trump now seeks to defeat Biden on Election Day on Nov. 5, 2024, after Biden defeated him in the 2020 election.

Below, take a look at how each of Texas' counties voted in the presidential primaries.
