San Angelo PD responds to two-vehicle crash Wednesday

One driver was transported to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Sherwood Way and A&M Avenue.

According to SAPD Officer Yants,  a white Chevrolet was traveling northbound on A&M Avenue crossing Sherwood Way and onto Millspaugh Street. The blue Volkswagen was traveling eastbound on Sherwood Way.

A witness stated the Chevrolet tracker had the green light and the Volkswagen disregarded the red light, according to SAPD.

The driver of the  Volkswagen was transported to an area hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

The drive of the white vehicle did not report any injuries at the time of the crash.

One citation will be issued for disregarding the red light, according to SAPD.
