SAN ANGELO, Texas — San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts education staff will host Family Day Move It! virtually and will have kits available for pickup via drive-thru at the main entrance.
Free activity kits will be available from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 12, at the museum, 1 Love St.
SAMFA and the Ballet San Angelo are partnering to get people moving. Move it, move it content will be posted to the museum’s social media pages.
Anyone who wishes to participate can drive up to the circle driveway at the main entrance to the museum and education staff will deliver a kit to your vehicle. The free kits will include information about art in SAMFA's galleries and activities to do at home.
SAMFA is also partnering with Be Theatre and San Angelo Independent School District to bring a STEAM Challenge art kit based on "the Little Engine That Could," the release said.
The train art project will test art and science skills and will be available at Family Day Move It!
Any leftover kits will be taken to the children's section of the Stephens Central Library the following week.
