Abilene-Taylor Co. Public Health District confirms six additional COVID-19-related deaths Thursday

Fourteen new confirmed COVID-19, 27 hospitalizations and 64 recoveries were included in the report.

ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed six additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Thursday.

The new deaths bring the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County to 348.

The patients were a man in his 40s, a man in his 80s, two men in their 90s, a woman in her 70s and a man in his 70s

The health district reported 14 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - three PCR and 11 antigen.

There were 64 recoveries reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 13,9760.

Twenty-seven hospitalizations were included in the report.

Taylor County has administered 51,423 PCR and 74,863 antigen tests. Of those tests, 6.976 PCR and 8,086 antigen tests were confirmed cases.

There were 44,447 negative PCR and 66,777 negative antigen test results reported.
