Seven new positive COVID-19 cases reported Friday - six for Tom Green Co., one for Schleicher Co.

The City of San Angelo Public Information Office reported six new positive COVID-19 cases for Tom Green County and one for Schleicher County Friday.

TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — The City of San Angelo Public Information Office reported six new positive COVID-19 cases for Tom Green County and one for Schleicher County.

The seven new cases are:

  • Hispanic young male, considered community spread; resident of Tom Green County
  • White male in his 20s, pending; resident of Tom Green County
  • Hispanic male in his 40s, considered travel related; resident of Tom Green County but tested in Dallas County
  • Hispanic female in her 40s, considered exposure to known case; resident of Tom Green County
  • Hispanic female in her 30s, considered travel related; resident of Tom Green County
  • Hispanic female in her 40s, considered community spread; resident of Tom Green County
  • Hispanic male in his 30s, considered community spread; resident of Schleicher County.

In addition to the new cases, the City reported eight released cases for the week ending June 12.

There have been 3, 802 tests administered in Tom Green County. Of those tests, 3,584 were negative results and 137 cases were positive results.

Eighty-one tests are pending results and there is one person currently hospitalized.
