ABILENE, Texas — A fire late Sunday morning caused an estimated $60,000 in damages to an Abilene quadruplex, the Abilene Fire Department said.
At around 11:45 a.m. Sunday, AFD crews responded to a structure fire in the 4000 block of Redbud Circle. They arrived to find a quadruplex with heavy smoke and fire showing.
Crews made a quick attack and were able to stop the fire from advancing. It was contained to a single apartment unit. AFD said no one was home at the time of the fire, which is under investigation.
