SAN ANGELO, Texas — An incident at the 500 block of the East Houston Harte Expressway near Main Street caused traffic to be diverted temporarily Friday morning.
San Angelo Police and Fire departments were at the scene below the Main Street Bridge, where one person was placed in an SAFD ambulance.
At 8:44 a.m., a Nixle alert was sent by the SAPD to subscribers asking drivers to avoid the area for an hour as traffic was being diverted on the Main Street exit.
San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Kelsey Hernandez said in an email, "This incident involved a subject who was under emotional distress. No further information will be released at this time. "
