TEXAS, USA — There is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for western portions of our viewing area until 9 p.m. Wednesday.  There is a tornado watch for Stonewall and Knox counties toward the north and west until 11 p.m.

Most of the FOX West Texas viewing area has been dry, but any more storms that develop across the area will likely have large hail and damaging wind gusts, so be sure to stay weather aware.  Any thunderstorm activity should be done by midnight Wednesday.

Wednesday afternoon we'll see some more development along the dry line, and there will be a line of thunderstorms moving through West Texas Wednesday evening. Any of those storms along the dry line could have damaging winds, large hail, and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out either.

Most folks will stay dry, but just about every day on the 7-day forecast I'm monitoring a chance for isolated thunderstorms - some of which could be strong.
