City of San Angelo recognizes 129 employees for milestone anniversaries

An in-person celebration for employees to receive the awards will not be held this year.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The City of San Angelo is recognizing 129 of its employees for achieving milestone anniversaries.

According to a City press release, the employees normally receive the service awards at an in-person celebration, however, because of COVID-19, the formal presentation will not be held.

The release also said the 129 employees have 1,520 years of cumulative service.

Celebrating milestones are:

  • 21 employees - 15 years
  • 14 employees  - 20 years
  • 11 employees - 25 years
  • 4 employees - 30 years
  • 22 police officers - total of 265 years of service
  • 20 firefighters - total of 365 years of service

The City said the employees have shown loyalty and dedication to serving the community.
