SAN ANGELO, Texas — The City of San Angelo is recognizing 129 of its employees for achieving milestone anniversaries.
According to a City press release, the employees normally receive the service awards at an in-person celebration, however, because of COVID-19, the formal presentation will not be held.
The release also said the 129 employees have 1,520 years of cumulative service.
Celebrating milestones are:
- 21 employees - 15 years
- 14 employees - 20 years
- 11 employees - 25 years
- 4 employees - 30 years
- 22 police officers - total of 265 years of service
- 20 firefighters - total of 365 years of service
The City said the employees have shown loyalty and dedication to serving the community.
