FEMA community registration event will be held Friday, April 16

Disaster assistance specialists will be available to help residents affected by the February winter storms apply for aid.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The City of San Angelo announced FEMA will hold an in-person community registration event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 16 at the Concho Valley Council of Governments, 2801 W. Loop 306.

According to a City release, FEMA will have in-person disaster assistance specialists available to help residents who were affected by the February winter storms register for aid.

Residents are asked to have the following available:

  • Insurance information, if available.
  •  Address of damaged property.
  •  Social Security number.
  •  Contact phone number.

To receive the disaster funds through direct deposit, residents will need to provide bank routing and account numbers.

Disasters assistance is available to everyone who needs it.
