Abilene-Taylor Co. Public Health District confirms 377th COVID-19-related death Friday

Sixteen new confirmed COVID-19 cases, 15 hospitalizations and 34 recoveries were included in the report.

ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 377th COVID-19-related death - a woman in her 80s - in Taylor County Friday.

No further information about the patient was available at the time of the release. 

The health district reported 16 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - seven PCR and nine antigen.

Thirty-four recoveries were also reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 14,516.

Fifteen current hospitalizations were included in the report.

As of Mar. 12, Taylor County has administered 54,856 PCR and 83,9331 antigen tests. Of those tests, 7,067 PCR and 8,217 antigen tests were confirmed cases.

There were 47,789 negative PCR and 75,714 negative antigen test results reported.
