Abilene-Taylor Co. Public Health District confirms two additional COVID-19-related deaths Thursday

Two new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 31 recoveries were included in the report.

ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed two more COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Thursday.

The patients were a man in his 70s and a man in his 50s. No other information about the patients was available at the time of the release.

The new deaths bring the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County to 376.

The health district reported two new confirmed COVID-19 cases - all PCR.

There were 31 recoveries reports, bringing the total number of recoveries to 14,214.

Fifteen hospitalizations were included in the report.

Taylor County has administered 54,777 PCR and 83,725 antigen tests, of which, 7,060 PCR and 8,211 antigen tests were confirmed cases.

Additionally, 47,717 negative PCR and 75,514 negative antigen test results were reported.
