Abilene PD hosts movie matinee Aug. 5

ABILENE, Texas — The Abilene Police Department, along with the Abilene Independent School District, Premiere Cinema and Beltway Park Church will be hosting a movie matinee at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at the church, 4009 Beltway South.

The movie will be a family-friendly PG movie and is intended for kindergarten-eighth grade children.

To sign up, go to the APD’s Facebook page and complete the sign-up form.

The event is free of charge with refreshments provided. Parents need to sign up for this event.

Parents may drop off students either in the Abilene High School or Cooper High School parking areas. A.I.S.D. busses will transport them Beltway. Busses will depart for Beltway at 1:30 pm. Parents may also drop them off directly at Beltway Park Church.
