Concho Valley Farmers Market set to open Saturday morning

The farmers market happens from 7 a.m. to noon every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through October.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Concho Valley Farmers Market is set to open this weekend at the Farmers Market Pavilion, 609 S. Oakes St.

The market happens from 7 a.m. to noon every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through October.

Expect to buy a little bit of everything including green onions, beets, radishes, fresh herbs, squash, plants, pecans, honey and more. New crops will be added as they come into season.

Cash is recommended for payment side not all vendors have to ability to take debit or credit cards.

Vendors from a 75-mile radius can join the market for $15 or $20, which allows them to set up a stand for $5 or $10 at each sale.
