Downtown Stroll event happening Friday, April 19

DTSA will host a Downtown Stroll event Friday, April 19 at participating downtown locations.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Downtown Stroll, hosted by Downtown San Angelo, Inc, will be happening from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 19, at participating downtown locations.

Visitors strolling the area will find an array of unique stops and engaging art exhibits. The event offers attendees the chance to immerse themselves in San Angelo’s diverse art scene and experience creative galleries and new perspectives in a fun and dynamic setting.

Participating restaurants offer meals, while local merchants showcase their rare products. Whether you’re a seasoned art enthusiast or simply looking for a fun way to spend your Friday evening, the Downtown Stroll offers a memorable and enriching experience for everyone to enjoy.

Participating venues:

Fuentes Café Downtown, 101 S. Chadbourne St.: Selling recycled tiles “Sacred Artwork” by Lisa Fuentes and serving complimentary “Nachitos”.

Casa Décor, 39 W. Concho Ave.: Variety of rustic and custom furniture. Live music will be performed by Justin Cartwright & the Hagglers. There will also be complimentary beverages, snacks and a door prize giveaway at 9 p.m.

San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, 1 Love St.: An opening and awards reception for the 25th San Angelo Ceramic Competition, in memory of Darlene Williams.

Gallery Verde, 417 S. Oakes St.: An opening reception of the Narrative Offerings 2024 Invitational, curated by Exponential Art.

Coop Gallery, 427 S. Oakes St.: An opening reception of the Ceramic Student Art Show.
