Man arrested in Snyder following shots fired

SNYDER, Texas — A Snyder man has been arrested with multiple charges after shots were fired Nov. 24. 

According to the Snyder Police Department, officers arrived to the 2500 block of Avenue R at approximately 11:41 p.m. in response to calls for 9-1-1. 

Upon arrival, the officers investigated and arrested Ryan Cade Owen on 11 counts of Deadly Conduct F3, one count of Unlawful Possession of Firearm by felon F3, one count of Tampering with Evidence with intent to impair, one count of Unlawful Possession of Body Armor F3, resisting arrest, one count of Search or Transport MA, one count of Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon MA and one count of Assault Family Violence MA. 

Along with Owen, an additional suspect was arrested with one count of Assault Family Violence and another count of Public Intoxication MC. 

The have been no injuries reported at this time.

The Snyder Police Department states everyone is innocent until proven otherwise.
