Crash at West Beauregard, Abe intersection injures one

The SAPD says the driver of a Toyota Corolla ran a red light, causing the crash.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — A two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning at the intersection of West Beauregard Avenue and South Abe Street sent a passenger in one of the vehicles to the hospital.

San Angelo Police Department Officer Fowler said a white Corolla was traveling southbound on Abe Street and a red GMC Terrain was headed west in the 400 block of West Beauregard Avenue. The driver of the Corolla ran the red light, causing the collision. 

One passenger from the Corolla was taken to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Fowler said no citations had been issued at the scene.
